Virus nods to Gears as he then move to grab the heart he had dropped by mistake when he was all about Kal. He looks to gears “where is he and whats going on with doctor

Gears nodded, checking on the other two with his full attention as Virus moved to pick up the heart. Wagner passed on the conversation with Azazel to the other two as Gears saw him left strapped to the table in surgery, and seeing Azazel in the tube room. “Wagner is strapped to the table in surgery by himself. Smiley is in the tube room.” Gears said.

Virus sighs “He’s not done with doctor it seems. If we go in there, he’ll know we forgave him.” Virus sat on the floor a second. “We need to think our next move.” He told him.

“Yea. We have to keep our distance until he’s busy alone with his toy to be with the doctor.” Gears nodded. “I’ve got my nanites clustering at the top of the elevator shaft. Once I get more there it should be able to boost the signal to the warehouse.” Gears said, trying to think ahead.

Virus nods to him “we have to win….we have to. ” he really needed something good to happen. He was cracking as everything just felt overwhelming to him.

“We will. We have to.” Gears affirmed, “What do we do about slowing elevator repairs?” He asked. They’d need to keep the demon here as long as they could.

Virus tried to think “small accidents, that dont draw too much attention. Uh tools going missing, rebreaking things when others are not looking.” He says.

He nodded, that could work. “The nanites can help. Short out fuses or things here and there.”

He paced a little, watching Azazel on the cameras.

Virus nods to him “I hate this….I hate not being able to get to doctor.” He told Gears “I should have been stronger. I should be able to stop all this.” He hunch. “But I keep failing you both.”

“Me too.. it’s awful.” Gears nodded, wandering over to Virus. “It’s not you. It’s 24 and smiley. You didn’t fail us.” He drew him into a hug. “We’ll stop this.” Gears said, determined.

Virus leans against Gears “I just feel so helpless….I wish I could save us now.”

“I know. It’s hard to be patient.” Gears nodded. Especially with smiley tormenting the doctor, though he left that part unsaid. “We’ll get him.” He held him as Virus leaned on him.

Virus looks to Gears “I don’t know what I do without you. ” he told him. “You are sooo much to us. Help us…you do so much….we do appreciate you….” he told him

Gears smiled at his words, bringing a hand up to caress his cheek. They’d need to work quick, Azazel’s threat to Wagner about turning his brain into some kind of computer fresh in his mind. “Nor would I. I need you.” He said, pressing his forehead to Virus’. “You mean the world to me.”

Virus leans into the caress, closing his eyes. Nuzzling the hand, he felt the forehead to his. He would slowly open his eyes and leans in to kiss Gears, bringing his hands to their face.

He gazed back at him in the dark, inclining his head to return the kiss softly. He smiled against his lips as Virus touched his face. “I adore you.” Gears murmured against his lips.

Virus still stared at him “I adore you. ” he told him “Gears….” he still hold their face “I’m going to fix everything I promise.” Virus kissed gears again, he didn’t have much faith. However he love that gears did, made him feel better.

Gears kissed him back, gentle and sensual, softly stroking his fingers through his hair. He did believe in Virus with all that he was.

Virus wrapped his arms around Gears as he kissed him. They needed to be near Gears now, he needed to feel grounded. As the workd around him felt like it was crumbling apart. He felt so lost, save for Gears by his side

Gears stayed in the contact of that kiss, staying close to him as Virus wrapped his arms around him. He wished he could take his pain and uncertainty. Could make the world right for him.

Virus held Gears tight, kissing him. Hey he didn’t breath, whats air to him. Though he did finally break the kiss “you will always be here….”

Even if Gears did breathe he was decent at holding his breath, more focused on the feel of Virus. He nodded softly, “Always, I don’t ever wish to leave you.”

“We must work quick though… Smiley wishes to tear us apart, and the fact he hasn’t messed with me yet hasn’t gone unnoticed.” He thought again about the information the doctor had pushed to them.

Virus held Gears close “he’s not taking you too. I can’t be alone again…I can’t.” He told him. “I don’t like it and I won’t go back to it.”

Gears nodded, holding onto him tightly. “I don’t want to be alone either… I can’t.” He agreed. Just the short time he’d been cut from the hive thanks to Azazel’s meddling had been torturous. “We won’t. We’ll find a way.” He thought again about Kal’s words on revenge. What if they couldn’t have revenge and happiness both? He knew which he wanted most.

Virus say there aa he tried to think “he needs to be distracted so we can see doctor …. I’m worried Gears. So worried.” He frown.

Gears nodded, trying to think what to do, how to distract him. “I’m worried too…” He nodded, they’d have to be careful. Azazel was more on guard than ever, which meant distracting him with anything other than the doctor and his toy wouldn’t be easy.

“He’ll get bored and play with his toy at some point. We just have to be patient…” He said. He wanted to see him now though.
