They reached upon an already grusome scene, there was blood everywhere, the body in question laid slump over a fainting couch, throat slashed already. The body was cold and the eyes had already clouded over. The weapon nowhere to be found, there was no trace at all, which suggest it was done professonially. Which was very odd, because two figures stood confused and baffled as they were the professonials who were suppose to assassinate this lord. Apparently there was way more to this issue then what was told. Because not only was the person throat slashed, but they had a wound where their heart should be. One figure looks at the mouth and noted it was a Vampire, but who? They usually avoided high profile Vampires, given the Priest was not the counsils favorite Vampire.
Mateo had started searching the room, while Voltruist just stared blankly at the body confused. He never had anyone snake a mark from him. This was odd and he knew Zagine was going to be furious. It didn’t matter if there was nothing they could have done, he was suppose to never let such happen. They were so careful to, Mateo never spoke about a job he currently did with anyone but who was working with him. Votlruist especially knew better then to talk about it, he stayed quiet most of the time.
As Mateo looked through the desk in the room carefully he realized this was indeed a Vampire noble and had ties in the counsil. This furiated Mateo and he moved to grab Voltuist by the throat “Did you know about this?” he hissed at the smaller Vampire who whimpered.
“W-what? No! Know a-about what? I swear I didn’t know someone was going to take the kill. I didn’t tell anyone.” Voltruist spoke in panic.
Mateo still pissed and felt betrayed knew the Priest spoke truth. So was Zagine setting them both up, he couldn’t picture Zagine getting rid of his prize assassin, but then he thought of Zagine like Diaco and perhaps Zagine was bored, bored of not getting his way with the Priest and wanting a more willing pawn. Especailly one that didn’t randomly run off. He heard here lately Voltruist had tried several attempts to run and failed. While part of him was proud to see the guts, he knew it be the end of him if he kept getting caught. He never run off before and he didn’t know what changed. Hell he seem even more crazy then normal, murmuring more to himself, crashing out more. The self harm was getting intense at times, something was going on and he didn’t know what. He let Voltruist go “Keep your wits about you……” right as he said it, guards rushed in. It was like they got tipped of, someone was clearly working against them and he was sure it was Zagine.
Voltruist immediately went into work mode, he moved fast and took his daggers out beheading one guard as Mateo moved to take out the next one. They tore through the guards that felt like were infinite, though eventually they did meet the end of the guards and stood in the gore of it all. Mateo points at an elevator “THERE RUN!” and without hesitation as always Voltruist ran. That was what Mateo did enjoy, when they did missions he never had to worry about Voltruist and he thought he would. However the Priest listen and moved when told and stop when told. He didn’t understand why Zagine complained about him not listening, he listen great with him. They moved great together, fluid and violent. Mateo knew any mission he had Voltruist was going to be sucessful. He knew Voltruist had his back, despite the abuse he put him in. Voltruist was a naturally obedient being, who just needed the right person to tug that leash.
They got into the elevator and Mateo smashed the button, the doors closed and there was silence. Voltruist just stood there waiting, never talked unless spoken too, never really got annoying. Mateo often thought to just cross Zagine before Zagine crossed him. Thought of taking Voltruist from him, he could use the Priest way better, he could maybe even break whatever that running away thing was. Maybe better train him, he was good, but Mateo was sure he could be even better. He hated that he was thinking like Diaco, but the Priest had so much wasted potential under Zagine. Mateo stared at the bloody mess that was Voltruist who stood staring at the door. He wasn’t bad looking, even with the scars. He told him he was, but that was more pushing insecurities. All in all the Priest look like he be a great sub, maybe he could get the Priest to open to him. Zagine was an idiot when it came to dominating a person. mateo moved and grabbed Voltruist pushing him into the wall.
The Priest then stared at Mateo assuming this was it, the punishment for failing. He flinched waiting, waiting, waiting…. instead he felt Mateo shove his knee between the small Vampires legs, making a friction to his groin. It sent heat pooling through him and he gave a little whimper, but he didn’t fight mateo. Zagine had bore marks from how viciously Voltruist attack him if he attempted to force himself on the Priest. Yet Voltruist hadn’t attacked, he looked more confused. As a matter of fact anytime Mateo got handsy with him, Voltruist never attacked him. He then leans in and crashed his lips against the Priest, pulling his hands above his head as he held them in place with him hand. his other roaming and groping and Voltruist did nothing to stop him. Just whimpered against his lips, even bucked against his legs. Could he get away with taking Voltruist? It seem maybe Voltruist was more ok with such then he thought. However Zagine would kill him for sure. Not just him but the Priest too. He then after kissing the Priest and having a taste of the sounds he could make, he instead smashed his head into the back wall till he lost consciousness, he couldn’t let his urges take over.
He needed more time to plan if he was to make such a move, while the counsil wouldn’t do anything to him, he knew he have to deal with them to get the Priest and he needed to figure that shit out first. He picked up Voltruist unconscious body, which he regretted knocking out, because guards were waiting. he through Voltruist over his shoulder and started shooting.
He managed to make it out of there and came up with a story, with truth. Zagine however did not set them up, he was baffled and annoyed. Mateo told him Voltruist had gotten hit in the attack and was knocked out. It was the best he could do and sure as shit wasn’t going to say he about had the Priest right then and there. Still as he had left, the idea of snatching Voltruist stayed. He could be truly unstoppable with him by his side and he was sure he could train the Priest to be a very obedient sub. Hell he kinda reminded him of Bazzle. Since he was sure he and Bazzle couldn’t be together, then he could atleast have something close to the clown, a sub who kill on his command maybe. He wasn’t sure what was coming over him, maybe he did want to settle with Bazzle, but could he accept him. Could he look at his past and not pity him or change his mind? All the bad he did, what he done to the Priest alone? Did he even deserve happiness?
