Bloody Rescue part 3

Back where Stahs and Wagner where….

Wagner watched him, grinning wider when he let him go. This was his chance. He closed the distance quickly as Stahs tried to move away, slamming the vial against his face where it shattered against his left eye socket. The cursed contents splattering his eye and the surrounding tissue, beginning to instantly necrose as the curse took hold. Stahs turned when Wagner move to jump at him, but wasn’t able to react in time as the vial was busted against his face at his left eye. Stahs stumble holding his face as he cried out in pain. Stumbling and falls over he tried to muster everything he had to try and pull Wagners blood out of him.

Wagner grinned as Stahs clutched his face, “Consider that both a punishment for and a reminder of what weakness will get you. I won’t kill you, I want to see you thrive.” He said as he snatched up a scalpel, moving closer to Stahs.

Stahs growled in pain as he hunched over. It was overwhelming the burning he felt. He tried to get out “I….will….free Bex.” He he tried to half crawl away, he had to see Bex.

“I think I’ll slit your throat, then bring you back to your manor where you belong. Maybe I will be able to save you from my boss after all.” Wagner said cherrily, following Stahs as he tried to crawl away. Wagner came up behind Stahs gathering a fistful of silver hair and yanking his head back. “This will only hurt for a moment, and then you’ll wake up safe and recovered at home. Except for that eye of course.” He chuckled, he could feel Gears in the back of his head losing his absolute shit at him, trying to reassure this was the only way to keep him safe from Azazel. He brought the scalpel to Stahs’ neck, drawing it across in a quick motion.

Bex was hurring to get to where Stahs was……

Bex glanced at Wagner’s office as he passed, seeing it was mercifully empty. He wasn’t alone for long as guards charged down the hall toward him and opened fire. The bullets ricocheted off his spines, as Bex lowered his head and charged into the hail of bullets. They might be a threat in his soft humanoid form but they were little more than an annoying itch in this form as he slammed his horns into the bodies in front of him and kept going, trampling and crushing those he didn’t impale. Bex pressed forward through the sea of accumulating bodies, the ones he’d impaled on his spines dangling, absorbing the bullets that were still being poured at him.

“Get out of my way!” Bex roared, opening his jaws and releasing a blast of plasma that scorched the hall and everyone in it.

At Wagner private storage room….

Azazel move up and past the storage room now. Getting the radio and hissed “have to do everything myself.” He shift into a bophmet looking formn now and turns to wait for Bex as he charges his magic.

Mariel stumbled past the storage room and shuddered to a halt and the sudden rather unpleasant sensation of a familiar aura nearby. His wings drew up slowly, head turning as if pulled by strings as he turned the corner to see the demon there. Azazel waited for Bex, ready to fight. He was going to break that shapeshifter. Then he was going to break Wagner. Reaching up, Mariel pulled desperately at his collar, his eyes fixed on Azazel and widening with a hollow look of maddness in them as he approached with slow, plodding steps from behind.

“Almost. Fifteen seconds.” He’d hear Gears voice as he pulled at his collar.

Azazel look to see mariel “who let you out?” His voice deep dark now. His hooves clacking on the floor “its cute you come to kneel before me, but i have bigger issues. Sit and wait.” He commanded.

His hands were shaking as they pulled at the collar, short nails raking furrows into his throat as he pulled at it desperately. “You haven’t broken me,” he whispered, his voice hoarse.

Azazel move to Mariel, reaching to go to try and grab his hair “I said kneel pet. You will obey.” He state.

“You haven’t broken me,” he said again, his voice cracking this time. He should have healed himself, that was the sensible thing to do, but as soon as the collar broke away his body flared to life, wreathed in holy fire as he reached up to grab at Azazel. Madness and rage burned in his eyes as the black tears rolled down his cheeks, a throat-burning string of curses in celestial spilling from his lips. Every syllable seemed to spur him to brighter flames, the golden light sweeping the hallway as he grabbed at Azazel’s wrists.

Azazel growled when mariel broke into holy fire. “What!” He was surprised. Azazel heard the painful celestial words and began to curse in demonic as he try to slam Mariel into the wall, when the angel grab his wrist.

The angel held on for dear life as he was swung about, and when he collided with the wall there was a sickening thunk…that was definitely a cracked skull. Still he hung on, crying even as he burned. With every second more of those feathers tarnished and faded to darkness, but stubbornly he clung to Azazel as though he were an old lover. The demonic words made his stomach lurch but he replied, “This place will burn, -you- will burn,” in a quiet, ragged tone. How much did the angel have left in him? The holy fire was intense but he was burning out quickly like a candle at both ends, ready to collapse at any moment.

Azazel yowled “let go you crazied idiot!” he yelled “stop this silliness pet and learn your place.” His arms were burning by the angeld touch. He was highly uncomfortable with this fire.

Flames scorched down the hallway like an explosion – though thankfully just about everything was dead. “Learn -your- place,” he hissed, the cerulean glow of his eyes going dark as the power swelled, bursting from his body like a supernova: the Wrath of a Messenger. It was all that he had left though, and his deeply-concussed skull was starting to blur his vision. Flames consecrated the area around him, like a ten-foot sphere of a dying star scorching itself into the metal, and then what was left of the battered celestial collapsed in a broken heap to the floor.

Bex paused and winced as flames scorched down the hallway, pausing a good distance away. They didn’t burn him, the gift of the entity that was meant to inhabit Bex’s body at work, which came as a surprise to Bex as the molten metal of the scorched walls dripped.

Azazel winced as the burns hit more of his body “you little shit!” He screamed. Stumble back when mariel collapsed “I’ll make you pay for this pet.” He hissed. Azazel stumble backbas a good bit of his body was burned. “Fucking angel.” He wheezed. Bex could see Azazel in the distance stumbling back from Mariel, remembering Azazel’s words about Stahs. He charged, hugging the wall closest to Azazel, doing his best not to trample whoever the demon has been fighting as he charged.

Azazel heard a sound as he turn, he was too damaged by Mariel to be able to fully fight as he was hit by the shapeshifter. Wincing as he then starts laughing, he was in bad shape “you…do all this…but they’re never going to let you go. You belong to us.” He told him. Bex snarled at Azazel as he laughed, the bodies already on his horns acting like a battering ram rather than impaling.

“No! I am not 24! Not your puppet! I am Bex! And I am leaving!” He roared as he tried to slam him against a wall and push past. He didn’t even care about killing him right now, feeling a desperate need to get to Stahs. He managed to hit him against the wall. Azazel just wince some as it seem Bex was going to break through the wall. Azazel was so going to get revenge.

Bex charged down the hall, he saw Stahs and for a moment felt relief, shifting to his human form and running for him. As he got closer the horrific picture became clear as he saw Stahs. Saw the eye he’d seen in his dreams, his throat split open.

Stahs felt his head yank back by his hair, reaching back to try and grab at Wagner hand. Before he felt the cut across his neck. Stahs gasp as he grab at his throat, blood pouring out of his neck snd mouth. His one good eye saw Bex and he reach a hand out to him, before collapsing to the floor.

Oh no. No no no no it was happening. He saw Stahs reach for him and collapse. Saw Wagner standing over him holding the scalpel. He saw red, launching himself at Wagner.

Wagner brought the scalpel up, catching Bex in the shoulder as he was brought to the concrete floor hard enough to daze him. Bex screamed, yanking the scalpel out. Stabbing and stabbing as he screamed blindly. He shoved the scalpel as far as it would go into Wagner’s good eye, then grabbed the rose and ripped it out of his other eye. He kept screaming for a moment as he thew the flower and sat panting a sec before his brain kicked into gear.

“Stahs!” He pushed himself away from Wagners corpse as it regenerated, rushing to the vampire and gathering him into his arms. He wanted to fall apart and weep but he forced himself to his feet, carrying Stahs back toward the elevator. Stahs was limp and unresponsive now. Covered in blood, some his, some not. He was like a lifeless body in Bex arms, that left eye looking horrid, blood still gushing fro his neck.

The blood from Stahs ran down his nude body as he carried him toward the exit of the facility. Bex tried to swallow down his sobs as he walked, trying to keep his focus on getting Stahs out and ignoring the fear that Stahs wouldn’t regenerate. Stahs blood dripped and left a trail all where Bex go. His hand dangled as he was carried. He looked in real bad shape. So lifeless now, paler then ever.

Every step made a wet sound as he walked through the sea of blood and viscera that painted the floors and walls and everything around. He walked onward, never ceasing his pace as he carried Stahs. Wherever there wasn’t already blood Bex left a trail of Stahs blood in his wake as he carried him, staring straight ahead as he moved.
