All over the world there are secret underground labs, that most of the worlds population do not realize exist and rightfully never should. Those that do know, are never heard from or seen again. A lot of unexplained disappearances can be link to this mysterious labs. Each of these labs run a series of experiments, each location being unique to the next. Much like the Nirvana site is known for having shifter experiments or Infernal tending to run with more lesser demonic abominations, some sites do much worse. Pandemonium has a reputation of being the worse site to be sent to. Their work is more strategic and they are well known for their “reprogramming” work they do. Conditioning experiments or Interns to do as told. However despite Pandemonium being the one to hold the title of worst, there is a place that most outside of the Directors do not believe real. A place so bad, when use a threat, it was thought it was a joke. Most thought that the threat was just to keep people in line at Pandemonium or to keep interns in line from being sent to Pandemonium. However it is no joke, no myth, the place does indeed exist.

It is known as Tartarus Site, named for the the infernal region of Greek mythology. It is said that Tartarus Lab was built on a rift and is why so much strange things happen there. The site itself is an experiment. Rifts exist all over the world and lead to other worlds. Some of the worlds weird phenomenon or paranormal activities can be chalked up to rifts. Stories of places growing still when construction has ended, weird sounds or seeing things that do not exist in this world. Tartarus Lab is one of those places, it never stopped growing. They do not create experiments there like the other labs, no they supply the resources to the other labs from findings within Tartarus Site. Almost Every door in Tartarus never leads to the same place and nor if you try to go through a door you just enter will it put you back where you were.

There are only a few rooms that are considered grounded areas where you know it will always remain the same, those rooms are: The multi-room, used for monitoring, offices, and light observations of findings. The Directors Office and Private room. Last the Staffing area, which is if the interns can even find their way back to it to rest. Outside of those rooms no where else is grounded, that anyone has found so far. They try to document with recording devices, though most cameras have been found to not work in a lot of areas, while voice recording devices seem to work fine. The Directors had to advance video recording devices and only a select few remain intact. Journals are mandatory, along with keeping daily or hourly logs. Attempts to set up cameras in every room found has been daunting. It’s believe not even a fraction of fifteen percent of the lab has cameras set up, the vastness of the place is overwhelming, even for the directors.

Certain rooms had to have special modified cameras put in, that couldn’t easily be destroyed. Some rooms have organic cybertronic cameras to keep the vegetation from destroying them. The anomalies found have help many locations in their searches to better their experiments. Finding DNA from obscure creatures, to strange powerful objects. One thing found was a fungi that had glowing blue markings, when tested made Nirvana Sites shifters pretty much indestructible and almost immortal, bring them back from death. When artifacts are found, they are logged, recorded, documented and then given to the higher ups that the Directors appointed, who have special abilities to navigate the confusing site.

The Site has two Directors, the only twins out of all the strange entities that run the labs. Most assume that becoming the Directors pet is a saving grace and it is in most labs, however most willing choose to brave the site itself rather than be a pet to them. They have the highest turn over rate in breaking pets and morbidly keeping them going after breaking them. That death can not save you from them, that whatever awaited you inside the site was more merciful then them. Some have even begged to be given to Pandemonium, but once you are sent to Tartarus Site, no one sees you again. It is one of the greatest mystery site, even to the other entity Directors.

Some believed in the nearby labs that their experiments were made so that they can explore the ever growing Tartarus Site. That the need for stronger and more durable experiments is so they do not break easy and are not lost easily as interns. Though that was not the case at all and people still believe that each site is creating a massive army, when it is much worse what they are actually trying to do. Still even among the labs Tartarus Lab is a mystery and label a myth, that it isn’t real, even if the entity Directors know it to be real themselves. A lot of what goes on there is just really bizarre, even for them.
